Bell's Bridge across the River Clyde in Glasgow

Constructed in 1988

 to link the Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre

 with the Glasgow Garden Festival site.

It is named after the sponsor - Bell's Whisky.

 Bell's Bridge comprises three spans,

two of which are suspended by cable stays

from a needle shaped pylon
.

The cable-stayed spans can rotate horizontally

on the south pier to allow passage for larger vessels
.

The Science Tower

The Science Tower in the Science Park

Glasgow Tower is a free-standing tower

 located on the south bank of the River Clyde

 and part of the Glasgow Science Centre complex.

 It holds a Guinness World Record for being the tallest tower

 in the world in which the whole structure

is capable of rotating 360 degrees.
